Privacy Policy for HK-Kalender
Last updated: July 30, 2026
This privacy policy describes how HK-Kalender ("the app") handles your data. My approach is simple: Your data belongs to you, and I do not have access to it.
1. Data Collection
HK-Kalender does not collect any personally identifiable information automatically. All data within the app is entered manually by you:
- Daily notes and shift schedules.
- Events and anniversaries.
- FTP settings (username, password, and host) used for backups.
2. Data Storage
All your calendar data and notes are stored exclusively locally on your device in the app's private folder. The data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly choose to use the backup feature.
3. Backup Feature (FTP)
The app includes a feature to back up your data to an FTP server.
- Important: You must provide and configure the FTP server yourself.
- The app only transmits your data to the server you have explicitly specified in the settings.
- I (the developer) have no access to your FTP login credentials or the files you upload.
4. App Permissions
The app requests the following permissions to function properly:
- Internet Access: Used exclusively to upload your backups to your own FTP server.
- Network State: Used to check for an active connection before initiating a backup.
- Microphone: Used only if you choose to use voice input for your notes (handled via Android's standard system).
5. Third-Party Sharing
I do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third parties. There are no advertisements or analytics tools in the app tracking your behavior.
6. Data Deletion
If you uninstall the app from your phone, all locally stored data will be automatically deleted by the Android system. Any data on your personal FTP server must be deleted manually by you.
